Business

After high school, I attended a local community college and got a part-time job at a wireless internet service provider in Central Maine. While working at that WISP, we were installing internet services to small businesses, many of whom had no idea how to setup their computers or networks; many did not even have a reliable IT consultant or computer repair shop to handle the basic work for them.

After three and a half years, I got laid off. It was at that point that I decided to start my own company, in July 2004. Originally I performed mostly residential repair work while I slowly built up my book of business clients, and eventually shed the residential vertical to focus solely on small business vertical here in Maine. My five year goal is to grow my company to five employees by providing managed IT services that Maine businesses can rely on.
